Summer Road Trippin
So, Summer Sun has arrived yippee, and soon the schools will break up and all hell will break loose! Many of us enjoy nothing more than a road trip over to France (and further) for our hols, but before you go please make sure you do your research on the various driving rules and laws in other countries, many of which vary from our own laws.
For instance, did you know that there is a zero tolerance of alcohol and driving in many European countries? so, put down that one half pint, as it could land you in jail!
Just driving across to France takes a little planning and consideration. You are legally required to carry with you a warning triangle, hi vis jacket and a certified, unused breathaliser, and you will also likely have to buy some stickers to adjust your headlamps.
Its also worth checking rules for carrying children in the car. In France, children under 10 years of age must sit in a car or booster seat, and are not allowed to sit in the front of the car unless there are no back seats.
There are some great resources to check your information before you go, and that way you can have a happy and hopefully carefree drive to your destination.
Happy Holidays peeps!!!
